Design a platform that makes navigating, curating and safeguarding photos fast & easy. Onboard users to the platform and explain the features in a low-friction, engaging flow.
Applying UX research to product brand
Our research showed that smartphone users often have large collections of digital photographs on their phones. These collections are often difficult to navigate & curate. We determined that an app reliant on machine learning can help users identify & save important memories.
We also determined that phone based photography is enjoyed by a wide cross-section of smartphone users and sought to develop a brand that appeals broadly.

Applying usability testing to product brand
Usability tests at low and mid fidelity showed that users felt disoriented by the user flow. We addressed this by making a loading animation that explains some of the features the app provides. The visuals & content work together to further develop our cute, inviting brand.
A loading screen was a great way to locate users in the process without disrupting the overall user journey all while pushing our cute robot brand.
